Green Computing is an effort of the Municipality of Kallithea and more specifically the I.T Office to ensure a safer use of Computing Technologies, towards the environment. Protecting the environment has become a critical target for us all, therefore with the growth of Technology, more and more users and hardware are surfacing. This usually leads towards misuse, and not disposing of the materials properly. This has triggered an effort for daily and future protection, with the use of environmental-friendly materials, alternative sources for electricity, and proper recycling methods.
