Exchange with Sweden

The aim of the mobility project is to enable an exchange work experience between staff working with the mentally impaired at Bostöd (help at home) and Serviceboende (Social support centre) in the District of Kortedala, Gothenburg Sweden and staff from help at Home and Social Support center in Municipality of Kallithea, Rhodes, Greece.

The mobility will consist of a series of 8 mobilities with the objective to share work experience in regard to motivation, and how through the exchange new methods and pedagogical tools can be developed to assist staff in their work towards motivating people with mental imparity to take a more active part in daily life.

The main method for the exchange is through job-shadowing. The host partner will provide the each participant with an instructor/mentor whom they can shadow for 2 days followed by time for dialog. At the end of the mobilities a workshop will be held for participants and host partner staff so as they can work together around the projects theme and underlying questions.
