The project has a length of three years and a budget of 1 Million Euros, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and participating partners. This project was presented within the framework of the Programme Med.

ACC1Ó leads the actions of the project that will be developed together with public and private institutions, from countries such as Italy, France, Greece and Croatia. The participants in the project  met in Rome in a first conference to plan all the activities that should be developed in the context of the project.

To boost common approach on innovative residential housing in the Mediterranean.

The initiative seeks to improve the competitiveness of innovative models for residential housing that respond to common enviromental challenges while promoting a Mediterranean identity.

Facing common climate change threats, water scarcity and the implications of unsustainable and precarious construction, Med regions have developed its particular strategies to promote sustainable housing, without promoting a Mediterranean common approach on the field of sustainable residential housing.

Thus, the specifics objectives that the project aims to achieve are to facilitate the development of common guidelines and harmonised policy approach to labelling, which encourages the use of environmentally responsible models of residential housing, as well as, to develop market opportunities for SMEs in this field.
