WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATIONS

On Friday 4 June, at 11.00am The Municipal Organisation for the Environment, D.O.P.E.K had launched the 2010 WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY celebrations with the main event held at Kalithea Springs.

This event was open to everyone, and the programme was the following:
. Kalithea Pine Park clean up
. Kalithea Springs Guided tour
. Information stand on Municipal Environmental activities

there were a lot of people, and particulary children.  As we all know "every action counts, and when multiplied by a global chorus, becomes exponential in its impact." So we can say it was a real sucess.
